Thank you for blessing me and my family by buying my Journal!

As promised, here are some writing prompts to guide you as you use the book.
"I am safe." - Remember a time when you felt safe. Put yourself there in your mind and describe where you are. Be very specific.
  • What colors do you see?
  • What sounds do you hear?
  • What do you smell?
  • What are you holding?
  • At what are you looking?
  • What are you doing?
  • Who is with you.
  • What are you thinking about?
Now, write about what "safe" feels like now. Throughout the day choose to remember that you are safe.

"I think right thoughts." - Our thoughts determine our actions. If we want right actions, we must think right thoughts. Make a list of thoughts that are uplifting, empowering, and supportive. Be conscious daily of thinking positive thoughts. When you find yourself with a negative thought, say "I choose positive thoughts." And then let the other go.

"I am enough." - I've heard it said that God doesn't call the qualified, he qualifies the called. Another quote I love is "If there is a what in your life that you are called to do, and you are clear about that calling - if it resonates with your soul and you know that this is what you are supposed to do with your life- I challenge you to do the what, and you let God worry about the how. Your soul know where it is supposed to go and what it is supposed to do...be prudent and willing to work, but how is not your job." - Dr. Carolyn McMakin in The Resonance Effect. Write about  a dream you have, something you have always wanted to do but have let negative self-talk hold you back. Write about it as if it has already happened. How is your life different?

"I am thankful"Having a bad day? Feeling put-upon, let-down, or just all around down-in-the-dumps? An attitude of gratitude goes a long way toward lifting our spirits and making us aware of all our blessings. Make a list of what you're thankful for. Get in the habit of thanking God each morning before you get out of bed for the gifts he has given you. Through out the day, be aware of your blessings big and small.

"I have a sound mind" - A sound mind doesn't focus on fear, worry, regret, or resentment. God says that he has given us the spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. Trust him. Write about any of the fears, worries, regrets, resentments, you have and then make a big X through them and give them to God. Trust him to replace them with power, love and a sound mind. When you feel yourself slipping back into an unsound mind, say to yourself, "I have a sound mind." And believe that God is giving you a sound mind.

"I am eternally saved". - Have you trusted Christ as your Savior? Do you know that you are eternally saved? Do you know what that means? Watch this short video by my pastor, John E. Godby, that answers the greatest question of all time.

If you have a few minutes and will leave a review on Amazon for the book, I will be forever grateful. Just one sentence is enough to help others find the book.
