Good For Us Isn't Always Good Tasting
If you're using essential oils topically and aromatically, you already know how fabulous they are. (I'm talking to all you smart people with Young Living memberships, 'cause you know how important purity, efficacy, sourcing, etc., is.)

But sometimes we want to get those Vitality Oils (GRAS - generally regarded as safe for ingestion) into our littles, especially during icky season. Disclaimer - I'm not a doctor, nurse, or medical professional. But we confidently ingest our Young Living Essential Oils every day. For the record, I WOULD NOT do that with any other brand! But you decide what's best for you and yours.

I just learned about this hack from Leslie Burris. (Check her out on Facebook!) She makes tinctures that have her kiddos begging for more.

Here's what you will need:
  • Dropper Tops - get them at amazon, make sure they are glass
  • Monk Fruit - pure liquid monkfruit sweetener, available at your grocery store or amazon.
  • Avacodo Oil - any good quality, get it anywhere you shop for groceries
  • Young Living Vitality Essential Oils - If you don't already have access, get them HERE.
  • Empty 5ml Essential Oil Bottles - If you're new to Essential Oils, instead of dropper tops, get glass dropper bottles.
Here are a few suggestions for what to make.

Calm Tincture
  • 10 drops Grapefruit Vitality
  • 10 drops Tangerine Vitality
  • 6 drops Frankincense Vitality
  • 5 drops Copaiba Vitality
  • 5 drops Monk Fruit Sweetener
  • Top off with Avocado Oil
Wellness Tincture
  • 15 drops Thieves Vitality
  • 5 drops Monk Fruit Sweetener
  • Top with Avocado OIl
Directions: Add all ingredients to 5ml bottle. Shake well before use. Start with 2-3 drops under the tongue. Can be used every 4-5 hours as needed.

Now that you have the general idea, what are some other tinctures we should make?
