Scientists are working on a new way to help teeth grow back. This approach uses light and could change the future of dental care.
A research team led by Dr. Praveen Arany of NIH’s National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) and Dr. David Mooney at Harvard University set out to investigate whether low-power laser (LPL) can induce stem cells to regenerate components in teeth. The team used low-power laser light on the tooth pulp of rats. The results were surprising: the laser helped the rats form tertiary dentin, a bone-like substance that supports teeth.
To understand how this works, the researchers looked closely at how light affects cells. They found that the laser light activates a growth factor, which then triggers a reaction in the tooth. This reaction helps special cells turn into odontoblasts, the cells responsible for making dentin and repairing teeth.
Since lasers are already used in dentistry for other treatments, this exciting discovery could lead to new laser-based therapies that help people regrow teeth and repair gums in the future. It’s a promising step forward in dental care!

You don’t have to wait for more research: my Personal story
In February 2022, a trusted friend introduced me to a new phototherapy technology. Skeptical but intrigued, I decided to try it. As someone who likes reliable solutions, I appreciated that this therapy has solid scientific backing. It is patented with thousands of testimonials. But I wanted results—and I wanted them fast! Wonder of wonders, I knew after just one day that I had found something better than all the other holistic things I’d been using combined! And the results just kept getting better as I continue daily use:
- I can hop out of bed and just take off walking. No more hesitant first steps to get my hips and knees in line.
- I feel more energized and youthful.
- My brain fog is gone. Alzheimer’s had claimed my mom, so that was a very real concern!
- My skin is smoother, less crepey, and more youthful looking.
- Scars have completely remodeled: gone!
It took over a year, but my gums have started growing back! This therapy hasn’t just helped my body; it’s helping me financially too. I save money now since I no longer need any of the supplements I had been taking. I’m able to help my friends and family experience all these things too. None of us need to know the science behind it, we just put a patch on, then take it off 12 hours later. So simple.
If you need the research, go HERE and read all about it. If you just want a quick breakdown of what it is, watch the first two videos. Then text me and rewrite your own health story.
